Well, I'm early but I couldn't help it. I was in line at Joann's and what can one do besides pilfer through their little $ bins. Good thing I did because I ran across this little stamp that was perfect for my Valentine's Day card for my lovely husband. I think its an Inkadinkadoo... I know its not a Studio G though.
I am also entering this in the Stamp Something Challenge Blog. I just finished my term on the DT and it was great fun working with Denise, Erin and the gals, but now I get to "play" in a different way.
The challenge this weeks is "New Somethings" and this little stamp fits the bill!
I had every intention of keeping it more "manly", but as you can see it defintely didn't end up that way. I figure I'm making the card so I'll make it the way I want to. The only thing it doesn't have is some silky ribbon... do the staples count as manly? Or maybe I should just give it to him to give to me (lol).
Either way, I love it and its just so pretty!
I used Papertrey ink cardstock and designer paper... the leafy stuff is Green Tea Leaves and I must say it is probably my all time favorite designer paper. I also used a background Papertrey stamp set for the text called Background Basics Text Style II.
The crochet ribbon is some stuff I just got at Walmart and the oval and hearts were cut using Spellbinders Nestabilities. Flowers are again, my all time favorite Prima Hydrangeas and the buttons are from Papertrey as well. The little puffy heart is from some goodies that a friend sent me and was just pop dotted up off that button, which is actually just a button ring.
Thanks for visiting.

Katie, this is so cute it's making me chuckle, hehe. I love that sentiment, and I know if I had seen this stamp I would have had to own it too!
Oh this is adorable! What a great find, the hearts and the lace ribbon are awesome too.
Totally adorable! Love the sentiment...or else...giggle!
Super cute Katie!
That turned out really cute.
It turned out wonderful! I like that the primas set a nice contrast for the rich colored buttons and show them off. The DP for the heart shape sets the stage for the whole theme too, and adorable sentiment!
Katie what a beautiful card! So cute and wonderful.
