Hi all! I have to say I just adore this card. This one fits the bill for Amy Rysavy's sketch and blog candy as well as Stamp Something's Challenge which was green for this week.I decided to use this cute little dragon image from Stampavie that I ordered from Embellish-it Scrapbooking. I had never ordered from there but was super pleased with their delivery speed and prices. I just happened to catch it at the right time for some extra savings and a special they had going on.
Anyway, I started this whole card based on the designer paper from TaDa Creative Studios. I focused on the green, but used the blue and aqua accents to add on to my dragon. He is colored with Copics and is just plain sweet to look at.
I also have to say that the ribbon is really cool too. I got that at Clear Dollar Stamps and it just fit in with the rest of the card. It has a two tone blue/green
shimmer to it. And of course those green flowers are the ones from Michael's bridal section colored with Copics too. These particular ones are actually the cream colored ones instead of the white ones. I originally wanted to add some green rhinestones to the center of the flowers, but alas I didn't have any so I had to settle for my Lime Green Stickles.I hope you have fun plans for today... not sure what we are going to be up to.
Thanks for visiting and have a great day.
