Bountiful Blooms

Happy Saturday!  Today, I've got a card to share with you that I posted over on the TaDa Creative Studios blog.  Its a product featuring one of the newest lines of scrapbooking paper and some beautiful matching stamps called Bountiful Blooms.  This particular line of paper is just gorgeous and one of my faves.

I featured the floral stamp and sentiment on a Labels 16 nestability and then added two different border punches (EK Success and SU!)and some cute pompom ribbon from Maya Road.

Thanks for coming to visit and if you have time head on over to the blog and check out the other card I made with this great product line.

More Halloween...

A quickie post.  I wanted to share this little 3x3 card and this treat holder that I made with some fun TaDa Creative Studios cardstock.  The paper is from the Festivus Collection and its perfect for Halloween layouts, cards and treats!

Thanks for visiting and have a FABULOUS Tuesday!

Monday, August 23, 2010

Hey all, happy Monday.  Wow... our week got a bit of a jolt last night.  Hubby and I were getting ready for our vacation... packing, cleaning, etc...

Today is going to be a busy day with getting the kids to help pick up, traveling down to Seattle to pick up my MIL, getting back in time to make sure that Kevin can get to his city council meeting tonight so on and so forth.

So, back to last night.  I head downstairs to pull one of my tables out and guess what???  Its wet.  Well as I'm sure you all know, having water on anything that its not supposed to be on is a bad thing.

Sure enough, water is dripping from the above pipe.  Panic on my part!!!  But Kevin stayed calm and we came to realization that he has to replace that pipe before we head out on our vacation early Tuesday morning.  And of course it was Sunday so everything was closed early.  He got the pipe cut and will head out early in the morning to get the necessary piping and stuff.  YUCK... like has a weird sense of timing that's for sure!!!

Anyway, I know this card is sports themed, but the sentiment fits.  Hubby is definitely a star in my book.

This is a 100% TaDa Creative Studios card from the Jock Jams Collection!  Papers and Stamps... colored with Copic Markers.

Hope and pray that all goes smoothly today.

How about some TaDa Love and a chance for some FREE product

Hiya! Yes, I am alive and kicking believe it or not. We are headed off for a 2 night camping trip - tents and all! This will be the first time camping for the twins and they are very excited so if you haven't figure it out its been a while for me too! We aren't going far, but its a great place that we've been to before.

But, before we get going I wanted to share some things that I've been working on and a chance for you to win some FREE TaDa Creative Studios papers. Annette and Mary are heading out to CHA today and you can find them in booth #2035 so make sure you stop by and say hi and check out all the fabulous projects the DT has made.

They are releasing 3 new lines that are just the cutest! Here are some things I created with them.

Here are 2 cards that I made using the Bountiful Blooms Collection. This paper is to die for. I paired it with a great Waltzingmouse stamp.

This card is paired with a retired Close to my Heart stamp image.

And check out this line called the The Big Top... gotta have this one! The sentiment is from Close to my Heart and the little cupcake is from an older TaDa collection called TeeHee.

And the last collection is called Holly Jolly Days, so bright and festive for the holidays. The sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps and the little gingerbread image is a Martha Stewart image.

And now would you like a chance to win some Free TaDa product. Head on over to their blog to find out how you can! ----> CLICK HERE <----

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

TaDa Creative Studios Sneak Peeks

Hey everyone! I've got a couple of things to share with you today. I acutally have a card to share with you and because I'll also be showing you the new lines of paper that TaDa Creative Studios is releaseing at the CHA summer show... its of course a card using some slightly older uber cute TaDa paper.

So, one of my favorite paper collectsions is called EIEIO. It is just plain fun and cute. From the name you probably realize that its a farm type of collection, but for today's card I created a "new" home type of card. I lovce this farmhouse image from this line of papers.

I used a great little tag-a-ma-jig (an entire sheet of fabulous images) and focused on that cute farm house image and then centered that onto a piece that I cut out from a Spellbinders Labels 10 die set. And added some piercing for some detail.

Added a little sentiment from Clear Dollar Stamps and you've got the perfect "new" home card.

So, without further ado, check out these most adorable lines of paper!!!

Bountiful Blooms Collection

The Big Top

Jolly Holly Days

Oh my gosh, aren't these the cutest? I adore the Mini Mes which are the 4 designs scaled down to 6x6 but all one a 12x12 sheet. Again, always double sided for the most value!

If you are heading to CHA in Chicago at the end of the month make sure to stop by and visit Mary and Annette at Booth #2035! I wish I could be there... someday I'll make to a summer show!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Waltzingmouse Stamps "Biggie"

Hey all, one more quick card for you. Claire is celebrating an entire year of business - Waltingmouse Stamps and she will be releasing 8 new sets plus offering FREE shipping. Go check out the details.

In celebration of Claire's one year anniversary, she is offering a chance to win all the new releases. All you have to do is go -->HERE<-- and take a peek at her sketch and the details. Easy Peasy! Here is my card using the sketch. I have my one lonely Waltzingmouse stamp set and am planning on amending that this Saturday! I paired Vintage Labels 4 (Claire's set) with a sentiment from Clear Dollar Stamps and used some beautiful paper from TaDa Creative Studios as the backdrop.

I punched out snowflakes using a Martha Stewart punch and then covered them with VersaMark and gold embossing powder. A little Kaisercraft bling and I was set for one more addition to my Christmas card collection.

Thanks for coming by again!

You won't believe it, but I have a layout for you. TaDa Creative Studios released a couple of new lines and both lines were just perfect for cards and pictures that I had. I used some papers from the Little R & R collection to capture a "day" trip to the Peninsula.

These pictures are of Hunter and his cousin Jordan at Lake Crescent. I just love these pictures of them throwing rocks lakeside. Did you notice the date??? Oh My Gosh, they are from 2006... scary, I know.

Here is a picture of each individual layout.

Now, the "day" trip is in quotes because everything would have been ok except we missed the last ferry and I tease hubby about it all the time, but he says that a "day" trip is still a day trip if it falls within a 24 hour span. I think we got home around 2ish the next morning...

Thanks for stopping by and visiting. Happy Friday!

Its almost T-ball time...

Yup, we'll be signing up the twins for T-ball in the next couple of days, but today I've got a bit of altered art to show you. The boys played T-ball last year and we got our photos and as you know they always come accompanied by a frame.

I didn't want the frame to go, but it is indeed boring so I opted to alter it :) And lucky for me I had this awesome new paper that TaDa just released. Mary and Annette added just 2 lines as a little mini release.

This paper is so awesome, I loved it. It was like they had made it just for me. In this particular picture I'm sharing Will with you...

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Talk about the way to get it done too... the fab Papercraft Ladies saw my card that features TaDa paper at last year's summer CHA show. If you happen to have a magazine... my card is on page 77 :)

I've made some really cute things with some fabulous new product that Mary and Annette have released. I'll be sharing those in the future. Go take a peek at the new papers.... click here.

Late Valentine's Day Post

Hi there... I've got a quickie post today sharing a couple of heart treat holders that I made. I made the original one that you can see HERE, but needed to make 2 more. I opted to go the "traditional" route for these two and used some fabulous TaDa Creative Studios paper. Its from the Festivus line (My Sweet Valentine) and the name says it all!

These were so easy to make and even though there was lots of pink and red, it was the chocolate in them that counted the most.

I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day weekend.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

Countdown to Christmas #6

Happy Sunday! I did it, but as I was doing it, and after I was doing it, I realized I didn't do it right... Am I making any sense at all? Well, that's ok if I'm not.

I really wanted to accomplish two things with one card so I gathered my inspiration from Limelight Papercrafts Sketch and Product Challenge, but I cheated because I went with a circle versus a heart, but I can honestly say that I was truly inspired by that sketch.

Then, after I took the photo, I realized I hadn't finsihsed the card they way I had originaly wanted to. I was going to add some stickles to my tree, but I did use bling so maybe I'll just let it go.

Either way, the end result is what I consider anther slightly non-Christmas card. It does have the bling, but add a bit of cushion to the front and it should travel through the postal service just fine and with only one stamp!

Thanks for stopping by today and finally I'd like to wish all my snow bound friends a safe and warm day (inside).

Recipe:
Cardstock/Designer Paper: Moss Green, Pure Poppy (papertrey ink), Dashing Through the Snow (TaDa Creative Studios)
Stamps: I have no idea... I think Imaginisce
Ink: Dark Chocolate (Papertrey ink), Topiary (Close to my Heart)
Other: Word Window Punch (SU!), Rhinestones (Basic Grey and Kaisercraft), Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders)

Stamp Something - Bling Something

Hey everyone! Yes, I am indeed here. We got through one last birthday, a cast, and another Dr.'s appointment and I am happy to say that it is Friday. I'm hoping for a Christmas tree this weekend, but we shall see.

Anyway, like I said it's Friday which means that its time for another Stamp Something Challenge. This week's challenge is sponsored by Paper Maniac and the challenge is all about the bling. We crafters love the bling don't we? I know I do.

Here is my card for the challenge.

I used one of my all time favorite papers from TaDa Creative Studios, from the Twinkling Tidings collection as well as the coordinating stamp (Dazzling Dazzlers). I stamped it with Versamark and then used clear, sparkling embossing powder.

The way I placed the design and the cut of my paper allowed me to then add additional rhinestones on the great snowflake. Sentiment is one from an old My Sentiments Exactly holiday set.

Make sure to go visit Stamp Something and check out the rest of the DT's gorgeous creations.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day.

2nd Post Today - Stamp Something - Cute and Fuzzy Somethings

Hey all... this is my 2nd post today and its that time again for another Stamp Something Challenge. This week the theme is all about cute and fuzzy and the sponsor is Ildi Co.

I ended up using a cute image from TaDa Creative Studios that coordinates with one of their new lines of papers. You can get the papers and stamp at Limelight Papercratfs. I used fun flock to cover his entire body and in hind site I should have colored him first... but it still turned out pretty cute.

The "hee" part was actually part of the "haw" part on the cardstock, but I cut it out and then added it on top instead.

Make sure to head on over the Stamp Something to check out the rest of the DT... you've got an entire week to play so come join the fun.
