Hi everyone! Yup... its Friday and definitely don't ask me how that happened. Can you believe that my boys were actually somewhere with no cell service. Image that! I should be getting a call from them sometime later today, so I hope their camping night went well and I'm looking forward to seeing them tomorrow or Sunday.
Before I get going with my card and challenge, I wanted to let you know about a cause that Erin would like some help with. She is trying to gather some cards for a young 13 year old neighbor of hers that was in an accident last week and has had to have part of her arm amputated. CLICK HERE to read all the details on Erin's blog.
Now onto my Stamp Something Challenge card - Favorite Somethings. Oh, so many favorites, but for this one I just picked one stamp (lol), but lots of embellishments.
I picked a flourish set called Elegant Flourishes from Clear Dollar Stamps. This is a great set and its one I've been wanting for a long time and finally got it and was thrilled to get it inky.
As you can see, I tried to keep it pretty simple, but I ended up getting those embellishments out.
Cardstock, designer paper, ribbon, button, and the dark ink is all Papertrey ink but the self adhesive pearls are Basic Grey and the crocheted flower can be found at Clear Dollar Stamps. The sentiment ink is CTMH.
Make sure to go visit the other gals at Stamp Something and check out this week's sponsor - Christian Paper Crafts. They are sure to have lots of inspiration for you. You've got all week to play so we'd love it if you played along.
