Hi everyone! I can't believe I was able to combine 2 challenges in one card. I go around and see many of you combine 3,4, 5 challenges all in one card and I'm always wowed by that. Ok, I will be overly generous to my self and point out that the Limelight challenge really counts for two - product and sketch - which means that I'm really covering 3 challenges... ok... I know enough of that (lol).
I didn't follow the sketch to the detail, but the main large panels are in place, but I did manage to get the polka dot part of it. Who doesn't just love polka dots??? Go visit Limelight Papercrafts to see the sketch and the candy that is up for grabs.
Now the color challenge part of it can be found over at the Clear Dollar Stamps Papercraft Planet forum. Shawne is hostess this month and she picked some very nice colors - Kiwi Kiss, Rose Red, and So Saffron. Remember these are SU! colors but use what ever is closest.
I actually ended up using all colors and patterns from the new 6x6 pads from Cosmo Cricket (Early Bird). Lori has them available at Clear Dollar Stamps and I was sure to snatch up all of them (shhh). Oops I fibbed, the card base and some extra cardstock is Papertrey ink.
Now that I'm looking at the card it seems much busier here than it does IRL. And I can't forget to mention that I just the new Spellbinder's Fancy Tags. These are actually quite larger than I had thought, but they are still beautiful.
My stamp is from a set called Ageless Antiques and I thought this image fit so well with the paper I chose. All colored with Copics, but the background was sponged with some CTMH dye ink and then I took one of the Copic markers and just dotted it around the background for a speckled look.
So that's it for me! Thanks for coming to visit! Have a great weekend. Oh, and the big boys are coming home today. I must say I did miss them... just a little (hehe).
