Happy Afternoon/Evening! I've got another card to share with you today. Its another double duty card. Its one I did for the Clear Dollar Stamps Color Challenge over at Papercraft Planet and it follows the sketch over at Stamp Something Challenge Blog.
The color challenge was a fun one this weekend. Pick a color and keep it monochromatic. Nice huh? Click --->HERE<--- for all the details for the color challenge. I used Close to my Heart colors - Tulip and Sorbet and the designer paper was part of a special promotion that we had not too long ago.
I did some extra stitching and in all honesty I did this to offset the fact that some of my layers were a tad off (shhh... don't tell). I used a newly released CDstamps set from this month that I hadn't had a chance to ink yet. Its a beautiful set called Beautiful Butterflies. I embossed it using Versamark Black and clear embossing folder and then used matching ink and a waterbrush to color it in. I used my Octagonal Nesties to frame my butterfly - love that too. I guess there is just too much love here for the tools of the trade.
Thanks for visiting and make sure to come back tomorrow when I will have some sneak peeks :)
Have a great night! PS... sorry the format and font are all wonky. All I have to say is sheesh and whatever!
