Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peak #2 and more...

Good morning everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing Sunday morning. Today is day 2 of sneak peeks for Clear Dollar Stamps April Releases. If you didn't catch the peeks yesterday, just scroll down.

Today, I've got lots to share with you. I have a total of 4 cards to share which make up 2 new stamp sets. Both are so cute yet different from each other. The first one is called Cat-tastic and is for all you cat lovers. If you, yourself aren't that fond of kitties, I bet you know someone or many someones who are.

I grew up with cats in the house and had one name Tibby in my early adult hood, but when she passed away, we never got another one. I think that was because at the time we had 2 dogs as part of the family. Then when Hunter was born we knew he had allergies, but as he got older and we got him tested, cats were listed as probably the number one and most sever allergic reaction. If there is too much dander around he tends to get on the wheezy side. Unfortunately he is also allergic to other animals such as dogs, rabbits, chickens, etc. Oh and trees and grass. Poor kid huh?

Anyway, cat stamps are perfect though :) For the first card, I paired my newest Basic Grey designer paper called Marrakech with PTI's Dark Chocolate. I love that little sentiment - "I'm watching you... (hehe). The cat actually reminds me of little kids when they play in boxes too.

The 2nd card is much brighter and I think just fun. I paired that one up with some of my DCWV Nana's Kids papers. I also put some on the inside of my card and then added my sentiment "that stinks!" to the inside too.

*********************************************************************************************

My next cards are of a new Charliene set that is coming out called Charliene April Showers. If you are a Charlie and Charliene fan, you will definitely want to add this one to your collection. For the first card, I focus on white and black and added yellow as my spot of color. I guess its actually more than just a spot, but I still love how this card turned out.

I lifted her umbrella and boots up and then added 3D Crystal Lacquer to it. Wow! I have to say that I love that stuff and of course love the sentiment that goes along with the stamp set. Here are a couple of close up shots of the umbrella and the boots.

I went more fun and bright again with my second card from the Charliene set. The funny thing is that I only used one of the little accessory stamps that comes with this set. Little ducks just make me think of swimming, which made me think of waves, but in reality, I'm not so good at making waves... so I ended up using scallops as my waves. This card was a lot of fun to create though.

I used A LOT of pop dots though to get the look I wanted. Each layer had to be raised one higher than the next. In my next picture you'll see that I continued to use that Crystal Lacquer. What you won't see is the mess it made when my little lid thingy fell off and it dumped onto my card. What you are seeing is a new layer over the old layer as I carefully sopped up the mess. Of course at that point the entire card was done so I wanted to save it.

The paper is some really fun stuff from TaDa Creative Studios. I actually used several components of one just one sheet of designer paper to get all the design elements on my card.

Well, that is it for me. Make sure you head on over to Laurie, Candy, Kim, and Tori to check out even more sneak peeks.

Thanks for coming to visit and I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and rest of your weekend.

Oh...and had to comment on the kitty cards! Love the one peeking out! The torn paper is a great complimentary accent to "peeking"! How clever is that! The other happy, colorful kitty card is sweet and just plain fun! Love them both!
