You Make Life Bright

Good morning friends! So what is on my plate today?? Let's see... I decided to take the boys (twins) to the twins' group playdate, hey as long as they get to run they'll be doing great.

I stopped by Michaels yesterday and that's what they did the whole time I was there (mind you just one aisle). They "raced" psychotherapy from one end of hte store to the other - yes, I guess I'm "that" mom.

Then, I am meeting a friend at the local scrapbooking store to pick up some stuff that I left at her house - duh!!! I swear, I would forget my own head if it wasn't attached. Then we'll probably stop by the grocery store before we head on home. And let me tell you, after that I'll be done!

So, now that the mundane is over... let me get to my card. I LOVE how this turned out. I'm a huge fan of red and black anyway, but when I saw this Unity stamp set called Shine On, I was a huge fan of this too. I got my set from Limelight Papercrafts.

I kept everything pretty simple, but added some bling with some Black Diamond Stickles and some Kaisercraft Rhinestones. I used a Copic Marker to color my lamp shade and used my long rectangle nestability to cut and mat the image.

If you are looking for a fun little candy heart treat holder head on over to Clear Dollar Stamps blog Clearly iStamp for my Tuesday tutorial.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Thanks for the bow tip. I will try both ways and see if I can get it. You can see from my treat holders that they are a challenge for me. Although, I must admit, I didn't put all THAT much effort into those since they are going to a bunch of 1st graders who could care less.

I LOVE this red card. The lamp stamp is super cute, and I am a huge fan of the black diamond stickles!
