I stopped by Michaels yesterday and that's what they did the whole time I was there (mind you just one aisle). They "raced" psychotherapy from one end of hte store to the other - yes, I guess I'm "that" mom.
Then, I am meeting a friend at the local scrapbooking store to pick up some stuff that I left at her house - duh!!! I swear, I would forget my own

So, now that the mundane is over... let me get to my card. I LOVE how this turned out. I'm a huge fan of red and black anyway, but when I saw this Unity stamp set called Shine On, I was a huge fan of this too. I got my set from Limelight Papercrafts.
I kept everything pretty simple, but added some bling with some Black Diamond Stickles and some Kaisercraft Rhinestones. I used a Copic Marker to color my lamp shade and used my long rectangle nestability to cut and mat the image.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Cardstock: Pure Poppy, White (PTI)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Sunflower (CTMH)

ahhh so you did get those stamps! love it they are so whimsical! and hmmmm the candy holder... might be a good teacher gift for valentines day. thanks
Thanks for the bow tip. I will try both ways and see if I can get it. You can see from my treat holders that they are a challenge for me. Although, I must admit, I didn't put all THAT much effort into those since they are going to a bunch of 1st graders who could care less.
I LOVE this red card. The lamp stamp is super cute, and I am a huge fan of the black diamond stickles!
What a sweet card Katie ... I really like the use of black and red together!
