You've got one last day to... Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peek Day 3

Well, if you haven't realized it, today is December 31st which means that tomorrow is January 1st, which means that many of you make New Year's resolutions and I bet one of them has to do with chocolate!

Well, don't forget that a little bit of chocolate is good for you - you know those anti-oxidants. Just remember to try and eat Dark Chocolate. Anyway, I'm previewing a yummy set that will be available tomorrow - Yippee!!! called Chocoholic. What a cute set and I'm telling you now, make sure to go check the other DT member's blogs because there are so many wonderful ideas using this set.

The first project I did with this set is a clear treat holder. I got a hold of some Clear Poly Sheets and really love them. They are described as being 10 mil but in my terms they are awesome. They are much thicker than a transparency but are still pliable enough to score.

And if you are curious, I just used plain old double sided tape so you can see it when its all empty, but when you have goodies in there - no worries.

I stamped my label and used my scallop punches to mat the image and then stamped one more time and cut out the center and attached with a pop dot.

My next little project is your average nugget box but again using the thicker Clear Poly Sheet. I hope that Lori will start stocking them at the store *wink wink* - are you reading Lori??

I created my own label design by punching a small circle and using it as my mask. I then used my polka dot stamp from Too Sweet for the background and then removed the circle and stamped my cake image. I colored that in with my Copics and then just wrapped around my Hershey Nugget Candy ( I used self adhesive address labels to stamp on). To finish it off I used that cool pink and brown ruffled ribbon. Its elastic too, plus its available at Clear Dollar.

And finally, I made a fun pink and brown card with this stamp set. I don't know for sure how hot pink and brown are, but in my book they will always be a go to combo. You just can't go wrong.

I created my background by stamping with two of the stamps available in this set and then colored them in with my Copics. For the flower, I punched a scallop circle and then snipped in between each scallop and then topped it off with a paper flower. The sentiment just finishes this card off - how appropo!

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful and safe New Years Eve! We are headed down south to visit with family since we missed it for Christmas. I have one more post of some cards that I made with one more stamp set for tomorrow.

I am having a hard time finding the heavier sheets of acetate. Where did you find yours? Mary

Hi Mary,

Thanks for asking. I meant to put the link in and forgot. I got them from Clear Bags: http://www.clearbags.com/?category|CPSheets
Shipping and processing can get rather expensive for just a few items (plus they are sold in larger increments too) which is why I'm hoping Lori will start carrying them at the store. They offer them in 8 1/2 x11 and 12 x 12.
