I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Ours so far has been right nice if I must say so. It was wonderful having Kevin take Friday off and we were able to do a couple of fun things that day. As you know, the little ones are starting kindergarten in the fall and the parent association thought it would be a great idea to have a set time at the school where the parents and children could get to know each other before school started. Friday was the first of these get togethers and we were able to meet the two kindergarten teachers plus the new principal. The boys had lots of fun and were were able to make some connections with some of the other parents. Then we headed down to Seattle and the aquarium. The boys had a lot of fun there and loved the large touch tank the best.
Saturday morning Kevin and I headed out for a motorcycle ride, the farthest that I have traveled thus far. We took Chuckanut (the scenic route) and then Kevin routed us back a different way. It was great fun and I'm feeling more and more comfortable each and every time I get out and I didn't do anything to embarrass myself! I hate to admit, but I think I'm really close to needing a bike with more juice!
After our ride in the am, we did the unthinkable and rented a storage unit... ack! I never thought we'd ever get to that point, but we have. The one thing I can say in our defense is that the things we are putting in storage are useful things and things that we do use, but mostly seasonal or just not that often. It will clear out some space for us and that's what counts!
Thanks for visiting. I hope each and every one of you had a great weekend as well.
Until next time.
