Happy Wednesday

Dear friends,

I thought I would share some photos of what continues to make me happy these days.  Being here in Washington, we've hardly had a summer yet and our plants are taking their time growing, but they are indeed growing.

Zucchini...

Cucumber...look how tiny they are.  We won't get to eat these for a while...

And the strawberries...

My meager lot of green beans, but the kids love to just snack on them.  Who knows if we'll get enough to actually cook for a meal (lol)

Will...

And my favorite roses... they smell sooo good too!

Hydrangeas.... my bush is always small but it's quite pretty this year.

Thanks for coming to visit!

Until next time.

Thank you, Katie, for the cool and lovely break. Here in Kansas, it is getting over 100 each day now, and headed for 110 this weekend. Your pictures are so refreshing!

I hear ya on the weather! In Vancouver, we're the same story (BC).

I am impatient with my plants because of what they normally look like this year, but the sun earlier this week finally seemed to help!

Oh how I love a garden...too bad I don't have a green thumb. But I still get to enjoy other's fruitful labors. Awesome garden Katie! Your roses are beautiful and those hydrangeas...I'm so jealous. A friend gave me all of her hydrangea bushes because they weren't blooming so I planted them in my yard and they were beginning to bloom so beautifully but we've had such a serious drought here that they all died!! Thank you for sharing yours with me:)

Wow !! The strawberries are fantastic. You need a pot for each of you.
Nothing brings more pleasure than eating something you have grown yourself. We keep eating squash, onions and peppers cooked on the grill, all home grown.
Wonderful you're outside enjoying you plants.
