Waltingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz

Hi everyone! Welcome back... I've inundated you with a few posts here after a bit of a break. It seems like it always works that way. Well, if you are here right now it is because you might be waltzing by taking a peek at Claire's lovely stamps.

I just received my order and was able to finally get them inked up just the other night. The theme for this month is "birthday" and is appropriate because Claire and her store are celebrating their one year anniversary of business. I'm so happy for her and her success.

Anyway, for my card I picked a set that I have been wanting for a very long time called Roses in Bloom. I chose the smaller open rose and left it as a line drawing and did no coloring. I love simple and easy.

I used a new color called Hawaiian Shores from Papertrey ink and used the corresponding ink with the cardstock. I then paired it with some CTMH chocolate.

I also used another WM stamp set that is part of the "nestie friendy" line called Fancy Phrases and was designed to go with the Fancy Tags from Spellbinders, but I added another Spellbinder's die underneath that one from their Ribbon Tags Trio Two set underneath the fancy tag.

Thanks for visiting and have a great time waltzing by...

Me too! I love this stamp set to pieces, especially the minimalist stamping background. I fully agree, this rose is something else, as is your stacking nestie idea...

This is a wonderful colour combo and the clever way you used the die cuts is great. That rose stamp is amazing for how great it looks with so little effort.
