Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peek - Day 1

Hey friends... its the end of the month which means that it is time for Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peeks. As usual, we have lots to share with you and the DT has some gorgeous creations to share with you.

These are the stamps that are being shown today and the full reveals and great samples can be seen on Lori's blog - Clearly iStamp:

Loving Ladybugs * Home is Where the Hearth is * Charlie Sledding * Critter Tales

Along with these sets, one of the greatest things I love about CDstamps is that there are always $1 and $2 sentiments and single images available that can be used independently as well as an combination with other sets. This month is no different and you will see many single sentiments that are paired perfectly with some of the above stamp sets.

My first cards feature a lovely set designed by Lori Wilson called Home is Where the Hearth is. I'm telling you, when I grow up I'm going to have a hearth with a mantle. This set is so cozy and it was a blast to piece together. It is also a great set that I consider easy stamping with lots of individual stamps.

Recipe:

CDS STAMPS USED: Home is Where the Hearth is
CS/PAPERS: CTMH Sweet Home Level 2
INK: CTMH Chocolate,twilight,Indian corn blue,cocoa,black,barn red,vineyard
ACCENTS/TOOLS: Ribbon, button, twine, Label One Nesties, Martha Stewart Border punch

My second card has a completely different look and I only used 2 stamps from this set. One look that I love to go back to over and over is a simple "triple" look. Taking a simple image and stamping it 3 times somewhere whether it be in a row, a line, horizontal, grouping etc always looks great (to me anyway). I used the cute flower and pot and created what I think is a more fun card and then I stamped my sentiment right over the center image. Plus, I just adore the little swirlies on that flower pot!

Recipe:
CDS STAMPS USED: Home is Where the Hearth is
CS/PAPERS: SU and CTMH cardstock
INK: Tulip, black, cocoa (CTMH)
ACCENTS/TOOLS: SU! tag punch

My next two cards feature a couple of cute $ sentiments that I paired with the new stamp set called Critter Tales. The image I used was the pink flamingo so of course I had to go all pink!

Recipe:

CDS STAMPS USED: Critter Tales, God's tickled pink to hear from you (sentiment)
CS/PAPERS:Watercolor paper, PTI sweet blush, CTMH Blush
INK: Versacolor Black, Versamagic Pixie Dust
MARKERS: 16,08,63 (Le Plume)
ACCENTS/TOOLS: Labels 2 nesties(spellbinders), PTI ribbon, Petite oval nesties (spellbinders)
COLORING: Le Plume Markers

My next card features a not so fearsome alligator... cute isn't he?

Recipe:
CDS STAMPS USED: Critter Tales, Chomp on god's word (sentiment)

CS/PAPERS: PTI white, Basic Grey Lime Rickey
INK: Memento Tuxedo Black, CTMH Black
MARKERS: YG03,YG23,YG97
ACCENTS/TOOLS: Circle punch, Martha Stewart zigzag border punch, tim holtz stapler
COLORING: Copics

Well, that's it for me today, but I'll definitely have more for you tomorrow so make sure to come on back, but make sure to head on to these lovely ladies' blogs because you won't want to miss what they are sharing!

Thanks for visiting and see you tomorrow!
