But before you go, I wanted to share a layout that I did the other day using some new TaDa Creative Studios paper. Its from the newly released Festivus Collection and I used the Glad Tidings paper.
Let me tell you a story... the year before this picture was taken, I had it in my mind that this one particular day was the day that I was going to take all three boys to see Santa. The twins were little and I had bathed them and was getting them ready and was prodding Hunter to get ready as well, and then things just imploded from there. The end result was ink from a pen splattering all over the twins and their room. Needless to say, we never did get around to Santa that year. I think that was mostly my fault because for some reason I had it in my head that it should have happened when I wanted it to and when it didn't things just didn't work out that year.
Fast forward to nearly 2 years ago when this picture was taken. The poor camera man was trying his best to get the boys to stop crying and I finally said to just take the picture. It wouldn't matter and that was just the way it was. And thus, this is the result of Christmas with Santa 2007. If you can't quite tell what is going on in the picture, lets just say that both boys were screaming and trying to get away from "Jolly St. Nick". That is also the reason for my title.
(Click on the picture and you should be able to see it a little bit larger)
I tried to get a good picture of the numbers. I stamped them with a white pigment ink and then embossed with a combination of some stardust (clear with glitter) and white embossing powder.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great Tuesday!

Beautiful page and that picture made me giggle! Thanks for sharing!
This is a great layout Katie!!! I love the photo and the stamped lettering.
I have a few pics like that myself :)
This LO is perfect -- it just cracks me up because it is so "real". Look how happy Hunter looks and then look at the twins -- real life, that is what it is all about.
My favorite picture of my son with Santa is his true reaction to Santa. He is crying and looking like he is trying to get away from Santa. He is now 37 and I still smile when I see that picture.
Haha, what a fun story! Sometimes I think those make the most memorable pictures really. Great LO, Katie ;D
Gorgeous layout Katie. Great movement and colour in it. I am sure it will be treasured for generations to come.

Katie, what a great story & memory. One day when they are in their teens they will have a good laugh over that memory! Great page!
