Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peek - Day 3

Hi everyone! Yup... day 3 of Clear Dollar Sneak Peeks is here. So what are your thoughts so far? Today's reveals are these following stamps sets:

* Dog Days * Flying By * Glory Days * Howdy Partner * Rock on *

Go visit Lori's blog Clearly iStamp to see the full sets in all their cuteness :)

Today, I'll be sharing samples from all the sets except for Howdy Partner, but definitely go check out the other blogs since there are some really cute cards made with that stamp set.

So my first card is from the set called Dog Days designed by Kim Teasdale. If you are a dog lover you will definitely enjoy this one.

I created my own background and then colored everything in using my copics. I then added some great texture by using my Quickie Pen and Black Fun Flock on all the little paw prints and the spots and nose on my doggie. I just love the feel of the fun flock.

Here's bit of a close up for you.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My next card is from the set called Flying By. There is such a huge variety of planes/jets out there that its fun to have images of all of them if you can. Clear Dollar does allow you to do this because these sets are so affordable.

For my card, I created a super simple and very clean card. Even though its so clean, I really feel like you can't go wrong with just black and white. This is as 1 layer as you can get.

And of course the sentiment is PERFECT with this image!!! I just took a pen and created my dots at the tail of my plane.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My third card is from the other plane/jet set that is going to be available called Glory Days. I feel that this set is really geared to all those who love military type planes/jets. Please don't ask me what they are :) I usually tune out when hubby and the boys watch the military shows.

I love the sentiments with this set and I'm sure you will too. Again, I went clean and simple but picked some richer colors to go along. My image was colored in with Copics and I used my oval nesties to cut my image out.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And last but not least is a card from the set called Rock On. This set was just fun! No guitars in my family, but I know a lot of people who have them in theirs or want them in theirs (lol).

Seeing that there were flames on the guitars, I had to recreate the flames on my card background. That was fun... I took my pencil and drew the flames and then traced over them with my fine tip Copic marker. This worked great because I knew that I would be coloring them in with my Copic markers so there was really no bleeding.

And continuing on my thread of clean and simple here we go again. This one just happens to have some brighter colors and more embellishments, but still lots of white in there.

Well, thanks for hanging in there with me today. Lots of eye candy I know, but make sure to head on over to the lovely ladies below because they have lots to share too!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

All the cards are great today but I love the doggie and guitar ones the best. Using the flock on the dog is a great idea and the flames for the guitar card -- perfect.
