I've got 2 cards and a project to share with you today and I'm saving the others for later in October. Trust me, I have plenty to share with you. I'll start with Baking with Charliene and must have to admit she is pretty darn cute!
I will also admit that I don't do the majority of the cooking in our family so I wouldn't be holding the turkey. Just as a side note, I'm not sure who will be cooking the turkey this year since my side of the extended family will be meeting at Seaside Oregon for Thanksgiving - all 17 of us (minus my Dad who isn't part of the family anymore) It will be quite the event I'm sure. Anyway, Charliene has lots of accessories to hold on her platter and she's super chic in that cute apron. I used Copics to color and most of the paper is from TaDa Creative Studios.
********************************************************************************************
My next card is from the Christmas Blessings set. This set has lots of sentiments for you sentiment lovers out there that can go on the front or the inside of your holiday cards.
For my card I picked the simplest of all the sentiments, but isn't the font the prettiest? I paired this simple sentiment with a stamp set called Country Bridges. I embossed it with silver embossing powder and added some liquid applique and glitter. I added a few strokes of a light gray Copic marker for a bit of shading. I just love blues for holiday and winter cards.
*************************************************************************************
My last project uses a stamp from Holiday Nutcrackers and the funny thing is that I didn't even use the best images from this set. I used the little poinsettias in the set and altered some candles with it. I had never tried this technique and I must say it was quite fun. After I altered the candles I had to create a gift box for them and am quite pleased with the way it turned out.
I colored my flowers on tissue paper with Copics and then melted away. The sentiment on the tag was also created with a sentiment from this stamp set. If you are a nutcracker fan, you will love this set.
So that is it for me today, but please head on over to these fellow Design Team Members for lots more sneak peeks and inspiration.

All great cards/projects but I love the way the candles turned out with the flower and the box is perfect to hold them.

Katie, I love the decorated candle set and gift box. Do you have instructions and measurements? Also how did you get the design that you stamped on tissue paper on the candle? I've never seen that done before. Could you share?
Sherry
That little box of candles is such a good idea! I'm definitely going to keep that in mind for Christmas!
