These are the sets being previewed today: Let us Gobble Together *** Patchpal Scarecrow *** With Thanksgiving *** October Stamp of the Month (Harvest Hellos) *** Billy and Maggie Fall
I've got 2 cards to share with you today, one using the October stamp of the month and one from Billy and Maggie Fall Fun. The DT got the option to divide our samples up and I decided to share half of them with you now as sneak peeks and I'm going to share the rest later on in October (eeek... October...)
Anyway, this first card is from the Stamp of the Month. Remember this set isn't for sale on its own, BUT can be yours FREE with a minimum $50 purchase.
A while back, I did a tutorial on Lori's blog about using wax paper, a cuttlebug embossing folder, and a brayer and I happened to still have one of my examples laying around and it fit perfectly with this stamp set. I stamped my wheat image with some Twinkling H2O's and then basically double stamped my acorns with 2 different colored dye inks.
I then finished it off with one of the new Nestabilities labels and some ribbon I picked up at Michaels.
My 2nd card is from Wendy Hall's line of stamps (sold at Clear Dollar) called Billy and Maggie Fall Fun. If you are a fan of Wendy's and are a fan of cute and colorable people, this set is for you.
I really like how this card turned out. I kept it fall, but more on the "lighter" side I guess. I colored Maggie in with Copics and then went a little crazy with the embellishments. This was the first time I've used these Prima flowers and I've had them for quite a while... I guess I was just waiting for the perfect moment.
Well that's it for me, but head on over to these lovely ladies' blogs and you'll for sure be treated to some fabulous eye candy!

Hi Katie,
I just love how you did the tag on your first card. And love the vertical row of buttons on your second. I need to remember that for future inspiration.
Gorgeous creations Katie. Especially love how the stitching finishes of the second one.

Maggie sso cute in blue/brown! Those flower accents are lovely too! Neat effect that technique has on the wheat/acron card!
I love the colors on the second card! They look wintery and warm at the same time. :-)
