Good morning all! I'm always thinking of you :) That has got to be one of my favorite sentiments to use on cards, it works for just about every occasion imaginable.
Today's card was made for the Clear Dollar Stamps weekend color challege over at Papercraft Planet. I essentially missed the deadline to be featured on Linda's blog, but I still wanted to do it since I knew back on Friday which stamp I wanted to use. I just ran out of execution time (lol)
I have to admit that I loved Linda's color choices. I felt like they would work great with 2 of the new release sets for March - Ageless Antiques and Kitchen Clutter. I also added some polka dots with a stamp called Spots a Plenty. Background stamps are always awesome to have around.
I also wanted to mention that Lori has a special giong on right now at Clear Dollar Stamps - 20% off the most expensive item in your cart! Click -->HERE<-- for your coupon code. What can I say except you can't beat that with a big stick (hehe). I have been waiting for a bit and decided that this was the month for me to place a big order. There are so many great new stamps and other embellishments available at the store. You really need to quickly click on over.
Card Recipe:
Cardstock: Black (PTI), Cranberry, Sunflower (CTMH)
Ink: Sunflower, Black (CTMH), Versacolor Black
Stamps: Spots a Plenty, Ageless Antiques (CDStamps)
Other: Nesties, embossing powder, ribbon, MS punch

And finally, I wanted to share a couple of pictures from over the weekend. I did remember to take my camera and I did take a couple of pictures, but only after I had forgotten I had my camera to start out with.
We did get new shoes for Will and it all worked out just fine considering I didn't have my receipt, but Nordstroms came through. Even though Will was the one that got the shoes, Nate was the one that wanted to carry the bag. What a shopper huh?
Then on our way home, we got a chance to see a bunch of Canadian Geese. I was told that what we saw was nothing to what Kevin and Hunter saw a couple of weeks ago, but it was a neat site anyway.
Thanks for coming to visit and I hope you have a very smooth Monday!!!

That picture of your little is too cute!!
Happy Monday! xx
Katie, I don't know which is cuter, your card or your sweet son (guess it has to be the son, but that card is awesome! Don't you just LOVE this set?!). And what great shots you got of those geese!
hee hee it's a stove! that makes me laugh, and I'm glad u got the shoe thing fixed, but those geese they are pretty!
I love how you colored the stove -- very defined. Glad your shopping trip was successful and Nate looks adorable carrying the bag.
Hi Katie! I have to agree with Erin ... your son is cuter, with his shopping bag and all! However your card is cute too ... you really made those colours work well together!
I love that card and the colours! So bright and punchy looking! HAHAHAHA, look at that lil shopper you got there! Lovin' your projects as usual!!!
Great card! I love all of that texture and detail. :) And what a cute picture! My little boy LOVES carrying bags, too. :) Well, until he actually GETS to carry and then says, "This is too heavy for me!" (He means that it is too big...) HA!
