Clear Dollar Sneak Peeks #3 - Sunflower songs and April SOM

Its Monday! Is that good or bad?? Well, in my world it means school for the kiddo and work for the hubby so its a little bit of both I guess. Anyway, today is another day of new release stamps to share with you from Clear Dollar Stamps. I enjoyed both these sets just as much as the others... have you yet seen a stamp you didn't like?? (hehe)

I have 4 cards again for you today. The first 2 were made using April's stamp of the month. This is a great bonus set that you get FREE just for spending $50 at the store. Seriously, you can get a lot of stamps, embellishments, tools, etc at Clear Dollar for $50. April's FREE with purchase set is called Silhouette Wishes and is another great all around set to have.

For the 1st card, I stamped the same image several times with a couple of different colored inks. I stamped on a scratch piece of paper to remove a coat of ink to get the lighter images.

I then took one of the stamped images and cut it out and just glued it onto my cardstock at the branches base so the top just floated freely. I hid all that under my "vase" which I created by using SU! label punch and cutting off one end. I ran that through a cuttlebug folder for some texture and inked it a little bit too (hard to see in pic).

After that was all done, I did some sewing on my card and assembled my sentiment and I was good to go. Here is a close up.

For my 2nd card using this stamp, I created my own background for it and made it nice and springy. You can't get any springy/summerier than pink, yellow, and orange.

************************************************************************************
My next two cards feature a stamp set called Sunflower Songs. I leaned towards more of a fallish them, but I absolutely adore these colors together.

And finally, my last card is a nice bright, bold card. My main goal was to focus on the letter "f" and I chose the friend sentiemnt to use on my card. I'm still on my acetate "thing", so I cut the letter "f" using my cricut and to give it some depth, I stamped on it using White Stazon. And check out that crocheted flower... ala my lovely Mother-in-law! Hi MIL :) We all love and miss you!

I know, I got a bit slow winded there, but I have to be honest and say that I'm pooped and still have lots of other things to do. Thanks for stopping by and just another couple of days and you'll be able to order all the lovely goodness soon to be available.

Go check out thes other ladies for more inspiration and sneak peeks.

Hi Katie! Wow! What gorgeous "Silhouette Wishes" cards! That dimensional one with the fancy machine stitching is gorgeous! Love the pink and orange "Spring-y" one, too! Pretty!

Your "Sunflower Songs" cards are just lovely, Katie...they really are! Love that acetate "F", too! Are you resourceful! Clever, girl.
