Dutch Dare in the Limelight Challenge Card and Stamp Something Challenge

I am in a challenge frenzy I guess (hehe). Anyway, this one is doing double duty for me: the Dutch Dare Card Challenge and the Stamp Something Challenge Blog.

Limelight Papercrafts
is sponsoring the Dutch Dare Card Challenge Blog for this week so I had to play along for that one, but their challenge is a bit sneaky. How about a Valentine card but with out any RED or PINK. So, I went to some of my Close to my Heart paper. This particular paper is called Magic Moments and it is fun, fun paper. I was excited to be able to finally get into it.

I did want a heart incorporated on my card so I used my cricut to cut a heart out. I used my Expression machine, George Cartridge and cut two hearts out at 3 and 2 3/4. I then stitched them together and used my SU! slot punch to lace my ribbon through.

The cupcake is from an A muse stamp called Cupcake Builder. I have quite a few cupcake stamps and I have to say I love them all. I haven't used them all, but I do love them all, plus I thought the sentiment in this one is perfect for a Valentines day card for my sweetie. The cupcake bottom, frosting, and sprinkles are all separate. I stamped them, cut them out, and then attached them with pop dots.

The bling is Kaisercraft Rhinestones and you can find those at Limelight too. Just a little side note here. I loved hearing the reps from Kaisercraft talk at CHA. I had no idea how many international companies make some of my favorite products.

Thanks again, for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
