Good morning everyone! I hope it is snowy outside if you are reading this. Its still wet at the moment. I now hope that you aren't completely turned all around and if you are a skimmer then you wouldn't get it anyway. Wow, I feel like I am going nowhere here so I'll get back with the program.
So today, I am sharing a card that I made for Linda's Clear Dollar Stamps (CDStamps) Color Challenge. She is hosting these every weekend over at Paper Craft Planet ( in the CDStamps forum). Click -->HERE<-- for this weekend's details. Anyway, the colors she chose are based on SU colors, but since I don't use SU! Cardstock I used what I had. I ended up using Papertrey ink's cardstock and a piece of Heidi Grace paper and it all worked out just fine.
I have to be honest here and admit that these colors were really hard for me to work wiht. It definitely took me a while and I'm still hmmming about them (lol), but in the end I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out.
One of the requirements for this challenge is to use Clear Dollar Stamps. If you have them and want some inspiration to stamp them then come on over and play. The stamp set that I used for this card is a Laurie Wilson set called Pond Pals. I stamped cute little froggy image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored them in with my Copics. Then I used my nesties to cut and mat him. I stamped the grass with PTI's Spring Moss ink and the flowers in PTI's Blush and then used my long rectangle nestie to cut the scalloped piece. I added a bit or ribbon and accented with my Signo White Gel pen.
That's about it for me. My goal today is to write up some posts. I've got a CDstamps tutorial over at Lori's blog - Clearly iStamp coming up - its cute :) as well as a Craft Critique article too. Then we still have to get a Christmas tree and I would like to take the boys to see Santa and have pictures taken.
Hope you get all your goals accomplished today whether its like me and get a tree or if you can just relax because you deserve it! Have a great day!

Very cute!!
Cute card, but I'd like to say in a most Southern way --
Excuse me ma'am.... could you go put up your tree and get your house festive please. We just can't have a non-decorated crafters house...
Right away please.
OH, I think this card is just too adorable!!
