Snow, cookies, pajamas, a card - lots of pictures

Hi everyone! I finally have some pictures to share wit you. As most of you know we (Pacific Northwest) have gotten quite a bit of snow and cold weather. This is very unusual for us, but it has been lots of fun. Kevin finally found some sleds yesterday - there were none to be had in town. He found them south of us where he works.

Here are a couple of pictures of the boys from yesterday having fun in the snow.

This is Will eating the snow, but the next picture is actually of Nate with the snow on his mouth. They were both eating the snow.

Finally, here is a picture of our Winter Wonderland and Hunter.

******************************************************************************************************************

I've also been doing another round of sugar cookies. I used a different snowflake cutter for these and they are large cookies. If you are interested in the recipe click -->HERE<-- They are my absolute favorite. I haven't made any other cookies this year. I really haven't been very inspired. I placed them into some spare cellophane bags that I have had for years - I'll be super sad when I run out which will be soon. The tags were made with a circle and scallop punch and the snowflake stamp came from a huge Christmas stamp set that I got as a gift a couple of years ago and the sentimetn is from Papertrey ink's Mixed Messages.

{Recipe}

Cardstock: White, Dutch Blue (CTMH) Ink: Heavenly Blue, Ocean (CTMH) Stamps: Michaels, Mixed messages (Papertrey ink) Other: Circle and Scallop Punch, Ribbon from Dollar Tree

********************************************************************************************************* The other thing I've been working on are pajamas for the boys or specifically bottoms for Hunter and the whole thing for the twins. Hunter is getting to big for me to make the tops and he's good with just bottoms. I've had some of this fabric for over 3 years and some of it is 2 years old. I had to compensate becuase the amount that I purchased years ago isn't what I needed right now.

I will end up with the twins getting full sets of the reindeer fabric, and one will have button bottoms and the other will have the ski bottoms, and Hunter ended up with bottoms of the buttons and the skier. Not too bad at all.

**********************************************************************************************************

And finally, a card to share. I ran out of the Christmas cards that I had made earlier and needed to make some more. I did a dozen more of these because they were super fast and super simple and relatively flat - just a few pop dots.

I used 2 stamp sets from Close to My Heart - Evergreen and Jingle Borders. The paper is also CTMH.

And if you are wondering, I purposely did not get full coverage ink on my stamp. I often like that look rather than having every single inch be perfectly rendered.

{Recipe}

Cardstock: Vintage Cream (Papertrey ink)
Designer Paper: Everlasting Level 2 (Close to my Heart)
Ink: Olive, Cranberry (CTMH)
Stamps: Evergreen, Jingle Borders (CTMH)

Thanks for stopping by and visiting. I hope you are having a great day!
