My baby is 9 today

Happy birthday Hunter! I can hardly believe that 9 years has almost past (he was born in the pm). First babies are always a trip down an unknown road, but Hunter's birth did surprise us. He came 5 1/2 weeks early and it was definitely a rough few weeks, but once we got over the bumps everything was rosy ;)

I finally decided what kind of card to make for Hunter and finished it last night. He is really into this cartoon called Avatar: The Last Airbender. I just sigh (loudly). Anyway, I did a little surfing and found a site that had printable downloads of the characters. They are meant for kids to color, but I reduced mine, colored it with my copics and attached it to my card. I think it turned out pretty good and I think Hunter will like it.

I have one picture, which is actually a picture of a picture that I'm going to share of Hunter here, but if you are interested in seeing more with the anecdotal stories click -->HERE<--. Since his birthday fell on a Monday we couldn't have his birthday party early due to the holiday weekend, we will have it this coming Sunday with pizza, cake and ice cream. For tonight, he had a request to go out to dinner at Olive Garden. I'm looking forward to that since we haven't been there in ages.

I'm also sharing the quickie party invites that I made. They are only 1 layer and super quick and simple but still hand made :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Oh, I almost forgot... Carrie is having an even bigger sale over at My Little Stamp Shack. Almost everything is 40% off. Make sure you stop by and check out her selection. She has lots of awesome stamps and is just a darn great person!!!

Mine are all grown up but I still think of them as my babies! Good job on the card.
