Clear Dollar Stamps - Sneak Peek #2

Good morning! Let me start by telling you I'm quite excited that I got some scrapbooking done! I'm so far behind, but it still feels good to get a little bit done. I'll try to share those at a later date.

Like I said yesterday, there are a lot of new release sets for January at Clear Dollar Stamps that you will just love. My first card is actually a combination of 2 new sets as well as an old set. The skunk is an image from an old (one of my faves too) called Cute Critters. I stamped my skunk with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored her in with my Copics. The background stamp is a long floral stamp called Tender Heart Swirls that is a new release. I stamped in Black Memento and again colored in with Copics.

And finally, my sentiment ANNNIVERSARY Blessings is a combination of new and old. The word "ANNIVERSARY" is from a set called Card Categories and the word Blessings is part of a new release called Card Categories Too. This is a great add on set to the first set and allows for limitless sentiment combinations as well as getting yourself organized.

My next card lends itself to a Valentines theme and I again used the soon to be released Tender Heart Swirls for my background, but this time I left it in black and stamped the entire background.

My heart was cut using my Cricut Expressions - one layer using cereal box and the top layer of cardstock. I then applied red stickles to the entire surface. When the stickles dried, there were a couple of unintentional air bubbles in it so I ran it through my crimper and that did the trick. I then used some black tulle that I got from Limelight Papercrafts. The cute bling I got a bit ago from Clear Dollar and fit perfectly with this card.

Here's a close up of my stickled and crimped heart. Even though it hadn't been my intention to crimp, I did like the affect after all.

My final card example falls into the sweet category. I went with all pink, how can you go wrong with that? Even though its pink, I made it as a thank you card. The little charm is from Michael's bridal section. If you don't shop in that area, you should. There are a lot of little embellishments that would work really well with your papercrafting.

Well, that is it for today, but I'll be back tomorrow with even more!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
