Playing catch up and some Odds and Ends

Well, the craft fair was kind of quiet and I sold some stuff - definitely not enough to be able to retire any time soon (lol), but it was the 1st year for this one and it was a great experience for me. I definitely have plans for next year and some ideas of different things I would like to make.

I was really surprised that I didn't sell any of the Baby Jesus Nuggets in the Mangers!!! I thought they were the cutest ever.

So... here are some things that pushed way back and I would like to share today (almost gone mind you). I had great intentions of mentioning and showing my card for hubby's birthday, but alas no fruition to that one. His birthday was 2 days before the twins and we kept it very quiet. Next year will be the big 40 so maybe I'll plan something then.

The card I made focused on coffee. We both LOVE coffee. The stamp set I used is from Hero Arts and the background paper is from Basic Grey Wassail. I used Papertrey ink's Kraft for the card base and accented it with some Chocolate Cardstock too.

My next order of business is an award that I was given by Michelle over at Mushi's Creative Inspiration. I met Michelle via my friend Emily (Saye What?) and I was lucky enough to win some awesome blog candy from Michelle. She always has the cutest Hello Kitty stuff as well as other fun things so make sure to go over and check out her blog.

Isn't this a cute award? I love seeing new ones too. Here are the "official" rules:

1. The winner may put the logo on their blog.
2. Put a link to the person who sent you the award.
3. Nominate 5 blogs.
4. Put links to their blogs
5. Leave a message for your nominees.I am listing 5 just because that is what the rules say, but you know how it is... everyone is deserving!!! For my 5 I chose from my list of fellow Clear Dollar Stamps Design Team Members. I picked 5 but they are all awesome!

Here are my 5:

Lori McCroskey (Clearly i stamp)
Lori is the owner of Clear Dollar Stamps and she just recently started a blog and wowza - everything she has posted is a WOW!

Linsey Rickett (Outside the Lines)
Linsey is so creative and just as sweet. And you gotta love her blog name!

Kim Teasdale (Paper in the Works)
Kim has an eye for detail that is par none.

Tori Wild (Wild Stamping Sprinkles)
Tori is another fantastically talented stamper with three adorable kids to boot!

Joan Ervin (Stamping with a Passion!)
Joan is always so gracious with her praise and it has to be said that she should know, since all her creations are gorgeous!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day. Hopefully, I'll get back to my regular schedule. I feel like I've forgotten something, so if you know what it is just let me know :)

Yeeks, my 40 is in Feb!! Loved the coffee card. I love coffee as much as you and Kev. I practically fantasize about the latte I had at your house. So, I asked Santa for an espresso machine. :o)
