I'm proud to be an American

Oh my gosh! I just got done listening to our president elect, Barack Obama and I'm so moved, inspired, honored, and proud to be an American citizen. I think in so many ways this is such a pivotal and historic moment for not only the United States, but the world as well. I sat there listening to his speech in awe - he is an incredible speaker and that was an incredibly well written speech.

I also have to say that I have great respect for Senator John McCain. I do believe that he is an honorable man and a man of integrity.

That is it for my political opinion and its mine and I don't usually delve into any of that stuff here, but I truly feel that last night was one of those big lifetime moments for everyone no matter what your opinion is.

So... I don't even begin to have a project to share with you of any real significance, but I do hope to post something later. AND... I have an awesome project and tutorial to share with you tomorrow for Limelight Papercrafts.

I felt the exact same way hearing Barack speak Katie-- what an amazing and moving speaker. I normally don't talk politics, but it was very moving to see him win.

My feelings is exact. South Africa is just as proud of the American people for electing Obama as you are proud of yourselves. Warm regards

After PEOB's speech last night, I felt the need to mention it on my blog also. I've always been proud to be an American, and I hope the world sees we can make change!

And cute, cute cards. Loving that little flagwaver!
