Sorry to be such a downer... and to turn things around I want to share a creation I put together to show off Clear Dollar Stamps December Stamp of the Month. It is called Cookie Creations and is 33% larger than all the other stamp of the months. Imagine, you're already buying fabulous stamps and all you have to do is spend $50 and you'll get this set for FREE. This set has lots of potential. I leaned towards a holiday theme, but you will be able to use it all year long.
I'm calling my project the NO BAKE cookie gift. Of course, the box dimensions always differ depending on what you want to house, but this particular box was made specifically for a bag of Pepperidge Farms Sausalito Cookies. 2 cookies in 4 cellophane bags. The nice thing about these cookies is the fact that they are crunchy and you could package up a few and you'll have time to give them out as gifts. I'll have a tutorial up for you tomorrow.
I also paired this new stamp with the Teacher Treats set that came out earlier this year since it is headed towards school. I kept the outside of the box simple, but did line the inside of the box with that scrumptious Basic Grey Wassail paper.
I also fell in love with Lori's tutorial on faux chenille. You can check it out on her blog Clearly iStamp. Tomorrow I'll show you how I attached mine to my box. Wouldn't the box be super cute with a black "belt" around it (Ho Ho Ho)? I also used some gorgeous red velvet ribbon that you can find at Clear Dollar too. Lori has even added MORE ribbon to her selection. They are all to die for.
We might actually brave the mall today. If the weather is decent we might also try and capture a nice holiday picture of the boys. I also have to start some hard thinking about Hunter's birthday party too (next week).
Lots to do and if you are busy, stay safe and if not, enjoy your leisure time.

Ooooh, that box would be cute with a belt! I can't wait to see your tutorial on it, that is an adorable box and I just love how you paired it with Lori's paper chenile!
It is a shame about that walmart employee, I just read it in the newspaper today. I think I need to go buy some mulberry paper and make this, so festive!
This is absolutely AWESOME, Katie!!! What a gorgeous box and the chenile is fabulous!!! Love the new stamps, too...sooo cute!!! I don't think I properly thanked you for the award you gave me...now that I am home I will have to post it on my blog!! You are sooo sweet...thanks much!!!
