My Craft Critique Cards

Good morning! Yes, I think its good except for the fact that its 6 am on the West Coast and our entire family is up and awake... Whaaattt??? I don't understand how such small children have such large voices - so strong and loud.

Anyway, I had an article up at Craft Critique yesterday about Liquid Applique. I love that stuff. Here are the cards that I used for my examples.

The first one is based on one of Katharina's sketches and the image is one of her Whiff of Joy stamps. In hind sight, I don't really like the way my word "snow" turned out, so I may revisit this card later. Either way, Charlie was a lot of fun to color in. I used my Copics of course :)

My next card was also a lot of fun to do, just in a different way. Another favorite of mine are my cuttlebug embossing folders. They add a lot of texture to cards with hardly any effort at all. I then used a really cute little stamp that I got from Limelight Papercrafts from Tada called
Snazzy Spruce. If you haven't taken a look at the Tada line, its really cute. I used CTMH cardstock for my background which always sands perfectly due to its white core. Its absolutely perfect for this card. And finally, I finished up my card using the Spellbinders Labels Trio Die set that I got from Cut at Home.

Don't forget, you've got all weekend to work on the Limelight Sketch and Product Challenge! All the deets are HERE.

So that's it for today. My goal for today is to cut and sew. Take care and have a great day.
