I love, love, love this card! Haha, its ok if you don't, but since its mine I of course have to love it :) Ok, its not necessarily the card itself, but rather all the great components that make it up. This paper from Making Memories is so pretty and I am a huge fan of double sided paper. It makes it so easy to pull a card or project together. I got this paper at my local scrapbooking store - Treasury of Memories or as my friends call hit TOM's. Its a great little store.
So, the card is for Stamp Something's Weekly Challenge. It is a Katharina sketch (#33) and its a nice basic sketch that can be used over and over. And since I have a few Whiff of Joy stamps I decided that I had to use one of my favorites. This particular stamp is a Charlotte one and was a lot of fun to color. I really wanted to use my longer rectangular nesty to cut my image so I did the unthinkable and cut off part of the image. Its always hard to do that after I've colored it too. I added a bit of fun glitter with my Atyou Spica Glitter pen (Gold). The tag was also cut with my nesties and the sentiment is a Clear Dollar Stamp (CDstamps) from another favorite new holiday set (Charlie Reindeer).
So that's it for my card, but I do have a picture to share of my progress with my Halloween costumes. I think I have all the main pieces cut and will get to sewing. The costumes are pretty simple so as long as I don't sew my fingers and make lame mistakes I should be ok.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day. We decided not to go to the pumpkin patch yesterday so our goal is to make it there today. Keep your fingers crossed.
