Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peak #1

Good morning and its a good one too! Today I have some Clear Dollar Stamps (CDS) previews for you. I have to honestly say I had a blast with all the stamps that I got to use, but today, I am giving you a look at one of my personal favorites just because it fits into my life right now which is parenting a young child in elementary school plus 2 more waiting int he wings.

I LOVE to give Hunter's teachers little thank you's and gifts throughout the year for holidays and teacher appreciation days. This set is PERFECT for that, either on cards or as tags on little gifts.

This first example is one of my favorites. The sentiment "My teacher has the "write" stuff!" and the pencil (all one stamp) is just one of 12 stamps from a set called Teacher Treats.

The phrase on the front of the jar is one that I just printed out and is the one cased from all the penny cups found everywhere.

The great thing too was the fact that I had the fun pencil paper. I don't know exactly how long I've had it, but its been a while. It was just perfect for this stamp. I made a coordinating card to go along with the pencil gift. The jar is an old jam jar that I had.

I colored in my pencil with my Copics and for the tag, I just stamped an extra pencil, colored it, cut it, and then pop dotted it over the original.

I really feel like this is a "real" and useful teacher gift.

This next card is another favorite (I'm warning you now that you'll read that a lot). This sentiment says "If teachers were apples. I'd pick you!

With this card, the focus of course is the apple. I used my Cricut die cut machine to cut out the apple and the polka dot background. Then accented the card with the great sentiment and stamped apple. This card has such a warm, fall feel to it. I LOVE how it turned out. I cut the apple out in 3 different colors and then pieced them together. The stamped apple was colored in with Copic Markers and is matted and framed with circle punches and a scallop punch. I also distressed the entire card with a nice soft warm brown chalk ink.

This is the perfect card for that perfect teacher.

This next stamp that I used was "mounds" of fun (hehe). No seriously, what a cute gift. I used my Scor-pal to make my nugget box (for 6) - the Mounds Bar fit perfectly inside. The sentiment is from the new release set, but the background stamp is from an older (but still available) CDS stamp set called Too Sweet. I used a label punch, a circle punch, and a scallop punch for my tag. You can find the Scor-pal directions for nugget boxes HERE.

Are you tired yet??? Here is my last preview project. Once again, another great sentiment. I made this little purse to house a little goodie bag of jolly ranchers. Can I say, too cute again. This particular project works great with all those little scraps you've got laying around.

Now get this. I didn't even begin to use all the stamps available in this set. Plus the price is perfect.
This stamp set will be available on October 1st for only $9.99.

Thanks for hanging in there with me and don't forget to come back tomorrow for even more samples and previews.
