Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peak #2

Happy Sunday! Wow, the days are just slipping by. I can't believe that its almost October, which means that I HAVE TO/NEED TO think Halloween costumes. I've always made costumes so I need to get in high gear and get some things done!

Just a reminder that the stamps that I have been previewing and will be previewing will all be available first thing on October 1st at Clear Dollar Stamps (CDStamps or CDS).

Today's samples definitely have me in the fall mood. Coming back from San Diego where it was super warm to home where it is down right chilly has definitely hit the fall thing home. My cards today feature the wonderful and fabulous Charlie himself and a sentiment that comes from this stamp set called Charlie Autumn. I {heart} him for sure.

This first card features Charlie having a super fun romp in some leaves. Don't we all want to play in the perfectly fallen and dry of course leaves? I think if I were to lay on my back with my feet up in the air, I wouldn't look nearly as cute as Charlie. I also have a close up picture of Charlie's "fur". I accented him with some fun flock (something else I {heart}). I also stamped out an extra layer of leaves and used pop dots to add even more depth to the leaves. The background stamped images are from last month's release called Autumn Blessings. These two sets compliment each other perfectly.

Recipe:
Cardstock: Autumn Terracotta, Chocolate, White Daisy (CTMH)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Autumn Terracotta (CTMH)
Stamps: Charlie Autumn, Autumn Blessings (CDS)
Other: Michaels Ribbon, Nesties, Cuttlebug Die, Fun Flock, Copics

The next card also uses last month's release Autumn Blessings, but is paired with the sentiment that comes with Charlie Autumn. Its a wonderful phrase and perfect for that fall card. You can click on the card to make it uber big and then you might have to scroll to read the sentiment.

The tree and branches (Autumn Blessings) were colored in with watercolor pencils and then matted and attached using my sewing machine. The base mat for the card was run through my cuttlebug and then inked with some ink to match my card. I used a nestability die to cut my sentiment tag and while it was still in the die, I sponged it with ink.

Here is a picture of the inside where I just accented the edges with a leaf stamp from the Autumn Blessings set.

Recipe:
Cardstock: Autumn Terracotta, Taffy, Chocolate (CTMH)
Ink: Chocolate, Black (CTMH)

I hope you've enjoyed the previews and don't forget to come back again tomorrow for even more.
