Taking care of business

Good morning! I didn't get my post ready yesterday because I was too enthralled with the Olympics. I could watch all day long. Who doesn't know who Michael Phelps is - WOW. The idea of being so incredibly talented at one thing is just amazing. I've been staying up way too late and its the Olympic's fault. Hubby says record it, but I just can't - its not the same!

Anyway, there are a couple of things to take care of today. First, I would like to thank two talented ladies for awarding me with another award! I am like everyone else and really appreciate the fact that other talented ladies think of me to share these awards with. The first one is from Erica at My Creative Life. I just noticed she has a new picture on herself on her blog - not only is she beautiful she is very talented. I hope I haven't been missing too long. It reminds me of when a friend gets their hair cut and you don't notice for like 2 weeks and you finally "oh when did you get your hair cut?" and they in turn tell you "oh, last month..." Ooops... Anyway, go check out her fabo stuff.

And the other very talented lady is Monique - Self Expressions. I "met" Monique through Clear Dollar Stamps. She does an awesome job of showcasing not only their great stamps as a Design Team Member, but always has beautiful projects on her blog! She's so humble too. Go visit and be inspired.

I also wanted to share with you all that Mandy over at Limelight Papercrafts just got in some Unity Stamp sets. I've been waiting for them to come in and just placed an order and of course had to get some more beautiful Basic Grey papers in the 6x6 sets. So make sure you visit and check out all the new products!

And finally, I have to share a card with you. Its not the card I had planned to share because my youngest decided to put coins in me card reader. Whatever... Does it make it better or worse considering that he was sitting right next to me when he did this??

I used the not yet quite available Close to my Heart September Stamp of the Month. This is a great set and it has lots of possibilities. I like the kind of fallish/rustic look to it. I used my long rectangular nestibilities to frame my flower and mat it and then added a little bit of PTI ribbon to it.

Thanks for stopping by and taking care of my business with me. Hope you have a great day!

Recipe:

I was going to record women's gymnastics last night because it was 10:30pm here when they started. I got to watch a little bit. You are right though it's not the same recorded! Very pretty card too - love the colors.
