Big shots are only litte shots who keep shooting

Good morning! Yesterday, I was browsing for inspirational quotes to put on my notebook and this is the one I picked out. I just like it :)

"Big shots are only little shots who keep shooting" - Christopher Morley. I didn't know who Christopher Morley was, so I googled and found out that he was a journalist and essayist. It just doesn't seem right to use a quote and not even have a clue who the individual was/is that you are quoting.

So, I saw this cute notebook on Lauren Meader's blog and then I happened to see it referenced on Niki Estes blog and now you get to see my version here. Mine isn't so thick, but I think this is really a great idea and would make some really cute gifts. I love, love this paper from Close to my Heart. Its so elegant and pretty at the same time. The actual dimensions of my calender are approximately 5 1/4" by 7 1/2". I used thick chipboard for the front and back and they are slightly larger than the calender pages. For the dates, I printed those off from a link

on Lauren's blog and then attached them onto cardstock. I accented my calender with some other Close to my Heart stamps and then bound it with my Bind it All. I'm quite please with the way it turned out.

And of course, since I had all the schtuff out anyway, I made a quick card with all the stuff. It was a fun little card to do.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day.
