Quickie Post

Why its Monday morning again. Its amazing how quickly they come around! :) We start our second week of swimming lessons and other than that, its pretty quiet on the home front. I''m still working on some things that I can show you later this week, but I did want to post a card that I finished up a couple of days ago.

There is a story to this card. Its one of those that looks so simple yet took me FOREVER to figure out and finish and I still don't necessarily like it. The image is a Lockhart image that I stamped while at my Copic Certification. I colored it in with my Copics, used Papertrey Ink's Polka Dot Basics for the background, added some stickles and that is about it. The reason why the colors are what they are on the cupcakes and frame is because I was following a piece of patterned paper that I ended up not using in the end - whatever... Plus, I can't figure out where the heck to put my sentiment or even what kind to put on there. I'll take suggestions :)

Anyway, thanks for sharing in my angst. Enjoy the day!!

Cardstock: GP White, Chocolate, Hollyhock (CTMH), Ink: Chocolate, Hollyhock (CTMH), Stamps: Lockhart Stamp, PTI Polka Dot Basics, Other: Ribbon, Copics, Stickles

What about a small circular sentiment attached to left hand corner of the frame (by the bow) clear as mud? LOL. anyway I love how you used the polka dot basics, I have never mixed them like that, definitely something to try!
