I couldn't wait - Papertrey ink Card

Papertrey ink had their new release party the other night and one of the things I ordered is a set called Guide Lines. Nichole did some really neat background stamped cards and I can't wait to get my set, but in the mean time, I really wanted to try it out.

So, looked through the stamps I had and I ended up making my grid lines with a stamp from Faux Ribbon and then I realized that Everyday Blessings has some cool filigree stamps in it. I liked how it turned out and quite pleased with it, but still can't wait to get the actual set that I ordered.

I did some scoring around the text to highlight it and also used Grey ink instead of black to soften it a bit.

Thanks for stopping by and we are off for swimming lessons :)

All Papertrey ink unless noted

Cardstock: GP White, Pink Blush, Ink: Pink Blush, Grey Flannel (CTMH), Stamps: Faux Ribbon, Everyday Blessings, Other: Ribbon, Scor-pal

Hi, Katie! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Congratulations to YOU on being selected as guest DT member for August at Clear Dollar Stamps.

Visiting your blog makes it very clear why you were selected. Your work is beautiful!

I'm running to PTI right now to get the guidelines! Great tool, but it takes an artist to create the design. This card is stunning.
