Birthday Card and Cupcakes

Today is my Mom's birthday and we are headed down south to surprise her. My siblings and I got together and sent her flowers and a gift basket on Friday and we didn't tell her that one of my sisters, a brother, and myself (plus family) were I coming down today.

Of course, I had to make a card (Beate's weekend sketch again) for her and instead of making a cake, I made some cupcakes. I ran across this recipe someplace on the internet, but don't know where. It is strawberry cake with strawberry butter cream icing.

And of course, I had to house it in a simple little box.

Hope you all have a great day.
