Papertrey ink Blog Hop - Scoring

So this month, the challenge was to use score lines as accents on our projects. I have to say this is also a perfect time to plug my scor-pal. I absolutely love this tool.
For my main card, I actually ended up combining last month's challenge with this month's. I love the fact that Nichole with the last 2 releases has provided a sample of the printed paper -->Click Here<--for printing at home. I did order the last newest release called Bitty Baby Blessings, but I still printed off the sample and that is what I ended up using on my card.

At first, I thought I would use some sort of yarn to use as my ties, but since I didn't have any of the right colors, I decided to cut down the matching PTI Ribbon. I love the way that the ribbon frayed. I used very tiny holes so I taped the edges of my ribbon and then cut them to a sharp edge and then threaded them through.

My goal was to essentially make scored frames around my squares of paper. My last set of score lines show up the best and I was a little disappointed that the first set didn't show up as well, but in person both sets show up just fine. Here is a close-up.
I didn't order the new baby stamps just the Favor it Baby so I used one of those sentiments as a focal point for my card. I also pop dotted that square to give it some extra emphasis.
.....................................................................................................................................................................

Here is one more card that I made using the scoring technique. Let me tell you that this card was not what I had in mind. I started out wanting to use the "mommy to bee" sentiment along with the Honey Bees stamps, but I just couldn't get it the way I wanted to, so I went back to scoring on traditional white. The Stamper's Select is incredible for scoring. It looks so crisp and has a nice hand to it. In the end, I ended up with the bee, just not baby themed. It is a bit difficult to see the score lines on the right hand side, but they are there - 3 of them :)

Thanks for stopping by :)

So I guess I started early. I was really curious as to what anyone might have up already. Nice job, I really like them both, and don't worry you can see the score lines. lol.
