This is just wrong...

Dear friends,

Classroom portion of my motorcycle endorsement class is done and over.  Tomorrow will be the practice on the motorcycles, but I don't have to be there until noon so yay to sleeping in (maybe).

So, today's post is really about something that keeps occurring down in my carft area which is in the basement.  I went down the other day and found out that "things" had been visiting the area where I take pictures of my cards.

Here is my card pre-visit.  Just something simple yet cute.

Here is my card post visit.  Can you see the slimy trail???

Here is the piece of cardstock I was using as my background.

Ok, I don't know about you, but these all look like slug trails to me.  Well, no sign of any slugs around and I didn't see trails on the floor... how the heck did it/they get on my counter.  I hate slugs, but if you think it was something else, please share.

I hope you have a fabby Saturday!

Until next time.

slugs can hide in the smallest places...but they can't resist beer/sugar water. Leave a jar or dish with beer on your counter overnight. They will find it and drink themselves to death. I know it's not cool to kill stuff, but at least they'll die happy :D XXX

The Mystery of the Creeping Slime... personally, I think it looks like the work of espionage.. someone who is jealous of your talent, has found a way to get in and sabotage your cards.. your mission, Katie, should you choose to accept it... or, you could put a circle of salt or powder around the edges of the surface, when they crawl through.. you can tell where they are coming from. Personally I like the first answer best.
Can't wait to hear ya report on the vrrrommmmm!

They are so creepy! Yuck! I love the beer solution. Can you videotape it if you find him/her after the beer? LOL Just me being silly.

Another thought, could it be possible that something is dripping from the ceiling?

Eewh! I don't like slugs in my garden & certainly not in the house. One time I picked a pretty strawberry & I was disappointed to see a hole in it. Just then a yucky slug crawled right out of it. Hope you can get rid of whatever it is!

Oooh we had mysterious snail trails across the rug in a cottage we rented on Holiday- had to creep downstairs at night to catch the little devils!!
