Clear Dollar Stamps August Sneak Peeks Day 1

Hey everyone! The end of July has come and amazingly enough August is just around the corner. The weird thing is that we just got back from a short camping trip and we were frozen... well, maybe not that extreme, but it was definitely a sweats/sweatshirt type of weather especially at the campsite.
*********************************************************

But anyhow... lets get to the crafty, shall we? Today is the beginning of August Sneak Peeks for soon to be available new goodness at Clear Dollar Stamps. Full reveals can be seen on Lori's blog Clearly iStamp so head on over to check it all out. But before you get giong, I do have lots to share with you right here :)

Here is the full list of stamps and other Design Team members that will be sharing the love with these today.

Autumn Critters

Spider Greetings

Hoppy Day (August Stamp of the Month)

Polka Dot Background

I have one of everything to share with you today so I'll get started from top to bottom ;) My first card uses an image from the set called Autumn Critters and guess what, I opted to not use one of the very cute critters in this set but went with the pumpkins. I love pumpkin images!

Recipe
Stamps/Images: Autumn Critters Cardstock/Papers: Cottonball white, silk watercolor paper (CDstamps), Cosmo Cricket Ink/Markers: Stazon, Tim Holtz, Tombow: 249,985,946,925 Accents/Tools: Labels 4 (Spellbinders), waterbrush, word window punch, pumpkin embossing folder, hot cocoa ribbon

My next cards from the set called Spider Greetings and this is plain cute. I must admit, I'm not deathly afraid of spiders or anything, in fact all my boys ask me to kill them and I don't mind, but you wouldn't want to squish one of these cuties.

Generally, you think of spiders as halloween icons, but this guy makes the perfect birthday card.

Recipe
Stamps/Images: Spider Greetings Cardstock/Papers: Cottonball white, wild huckleberry (CDstamps), Eerie (basic grey) Ink/Markers: Memento tuxedo black, tim holtz wild honey distress ink, Copics: YR23,YR31,C-6,C-7,V06,V09, R37 Accents/Tools: Black ribbon, pinking circles, labels 2 (spellbinders), fleur de lis border punch (eksuccess), sponge tool

So I shared a creepy critter and now I've got what I would consider a slimy critter, but in this case much cuter than slimier. I'm not a huge fan of "real life" frogs (lol) but I'll take this cute little guy from the stamp of the month for August called Hoppy Day anytime.

Recipe
Stamps/Images: Hoppy Day (Aug.som), Polka Dot Background Cardstock/Papers: Cottonball white, ripe olive, billowing clouds (CDstamps) Ink/Markers: CTMH, Memento Tuxedo Black, tim holtz distress ink, Copics: YG95,YG03,YG63,YG67, G94,C-1 Accents/Tools: Billowing clouds ribbon (CDstamps), Labels One (spellbinders), Swiss Dots embossing folder, ek success border punch, tim holtz sponge tool

And my last card also features the same stamp that I used on the card above... tricky huh? One of the basic background building stamp images that I ADORE are polka dots. You just can't have enough and the one that Lori designed is perfect... not to small and not to big.

It is long enough that it will cover the length of a 5 1/2" card and it is easy to line up for continues stamping.

I paired the Polka Dot Background stamp with the cute Birthday Cake image that Lori created for her very first Card Kit.

Recipe
Stamps/Images: Polka Dot Background, birthday cake Cardstock/Papers: Basic Grey Lemonade, cottonball white, Silk Watercolor paper (CDS) Ink/Markers: Stazon,CTMH, Tombow Markers: 173,476, 703 Accents/Tools: Labels 8 and Long Rectangle nesties (spellbinders), tickled pink CDS ribbon Technique: watercolor

That's it for me today, but make sure to come back tomorrow for even more! Have a great day!
