A couple of challenge cards

Its Saturday and the sun is shining... this is indeed big news here. It has been so wet lately! I wanted to share a couple of challenge cards that I've made and not shared on the 'ole blog.

This first card was for Mojo Monday and was a sketch that I followed. I made this card for one of my lovely card ladies who wanted a card for her grandson. As you can tell, he's a martial arts fan.

The stamp is from Clear Dollar Stamps and surprisingly enough it is called Martial Arts (hehe)... I used a technique called 2nd generation stamping and in this case its actually 3rd since I stamped this image 3 times. The sentiment is another CDstamp set called Team Encouragements.

My next card was made for Laurie's challenge that she hosts on her own blog, Clearly Delightful. I've used one of her freebie digital images that you can find at her store called Doodle Pantry. I printed this on some silk watercolor paper and then used Tombow markers to color it in. You can find the basic grey, markers, ribbon and cardstock all at Clear Dollar Stamps.

That's it for me so I hope you enjoy your day. Today is the last T-ball game, err... grass picking for the boys and I think they just fine with that :)

I'm lovin' the new look to your blog, Katie. Great cards too! Enjoy your t-ball games today. I remember when the kids used to stand out in the outfield with their gloves on their heads and spin around. . .so cute ;D

First off, I am soooo sorry I haven't commented in so long. Just been SUPER busy! I love your Mojo card, the triple image generationally stamped really shows the motion involved! so masculine!
