Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peek - Day 4

Wow... last day of sneak peeks for Clear Dollar Stamps and everything will be available first thing on the 1st. Head on over to Lori's blog - Clearly iStamp for the full reveals. The stamps being shown today are as follows.

Eiffel Tower

Fashionably French

Martial Arts

Topped with Class
(April Stamp of the Month)

Digital Images

So lets get started... my first set of cards feature the set called Eiffel Tower. I was really excited by this set since I really feel that everyone needs an Eiffel Tower image... seriously :) As you can see its a nice sized image and I chose to use white pigment ink and then emboss it. I then took that same ink and highlighted the tower. I was also playing around with some new Maya Road pompom ribbon and some silk ribbon. Not sure I got the look I envisioned, but oh well its still fun to play.

Recipe

CDS STAMPS USED: Eiffel Tower

CS/PAPERS: Neenah white, Cocoa (CTMH),Indian Summer(basic grey)

INK: White Daisy, Cocoa (CTMH), VersaMark

ACCENTS/TOOLS: Silk ribbon (may arts),pompom ribbon(maya road),CTMH brad, clear embossing powder

For my 2nd card, I focused on another stamp from this set. A very whimsical butterfly. I added some branch/leaves by using a Sizzix die. I cut two and glued them together so they would be a tad bit thicker. AND, I got some new Maya Road spritz and I must say that it worked wonderfully to color my branch and leaves. They started out as Kraft cardstock.

My next two cards are a complete contrast to the French theme, but they are a great set to add to your collection. I know that there are many of you out there requesting a Martial Artstheme so here you go.

I was so happy that I was able to use up this Basic Grey paper. It is old, I don't even know when it was released, but a good friend of mine got some on clearance and sent it my way.

CS/PAPERS: Neenah white, Obscure (Basic Grey), Black (CTMH)
INK: Versafine Onyx Black, Sunflower,Tulip,Orange(CTMH)
ACCENTS/TOOLS: Petite oval nestabilities(spellbinders), Brads (CTMH)
TECHNIQUE: sponging

My second card is a bit more traditional and I love the fact that I made my own background by combining all the sentiments. Yes, combined them all on one block. The only thing you have to do is make sure that you fit them in a rectangular shape so you can keep stamping and you won't have any over lapping words.
