Poppy Seed Challenge a Day Late and A Dollar Short

Hey there! Happy Friday to everyone. Guess what? Hubby and I are hopping on his motorcycle (I am a bit leery about this) but that is what is happening nonetheless. I have a fabulous friend who is coming over to stay the night with the boys and we are heading over to Port Townshend. We are going to be staying HERE. It will be a nice little respite.

Now, I do have a card to share and I wasn't paying attention to time lines and I did this card yesterday after the fact, but that doesn't change the fact that I did it and I was inspired by Lisa Johnson's new challenge - Poppy Seed Challenge. The premise is that Lisa provides "seeds" of inspiration and for this particular challenge the seeds were: crystals, flower stamp, and light yellow.

Ha, as I'm typing up the post, I realized I didn't use a flower stamp, but I did use stamps and I did get the light yellow and I did get the crystals... so I was almost there.

I combined stamps from two companies. The flourishes are from a set called Damask Designer from Clear Dollar Stamps and the sentiment is from a set called Big & Bold Wishes from Papertrey ink. The rhinestones are Bling Its from Basic Grey and the little sateen flower is from Michaels. I cut the entire thing out with the Labels 8 Nestabilities, and oh, the background paper is some Stampin Up stuff that I have (don't know what its called).

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Friday and weekend!

Hi StampKatie! Have a great time w/ StampKevin. Hey there is a hole in the wall (shack - local favorite) restaurant that serves good breakfast at the far end of Port Townsend. We have not been there in the last couple of years but usually hit the place whenever we get into town. Guess I won't be over today, call when you get back home. Yes I have an order! LOL!!! Enjoy! And by the waaaayy Cute card!
