Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peek - Day 4

Hi friends! Today is the last day of sneak peeks for the new releases from Clear Dollar Stamps and these are just as great as the ones from the past three days. As you know by now, you can see the full sets on Lori's blog - Clearly iStamp and they are:

* Winged Whispers * January Carnation * February Pansy * Rooster *

* Individual Words*

Today, I'll be sharing cards from all the above except for February Pansy -- yay for me. So let me get going :)

The first card is from the set called Winged Whispers and is another must have if you are a fan of birds which I am... Its always hard for me to pick which card I want to share, but at least I get to share which ever one I don't choose later on.

For this bird (I think its a cardinal, but you can't hold me accountable)... I went with red. My MIL loves cardinals and birds so I was thinking of her when I made this card.

I used some SU! paper for this card and I'm on a roll... I think another clean and simple card for me.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My next card is from the January Carnation set. If you didn't realize it, this is just one month of the entire year of flowers and these two sets being released for October are finishing up the set. I love carnations, I remember that they were the easiest flowers to decorate cakes with - carnations with babies breath was always a winning combination.

I followed a sketch provided for us by Laurie (I likey the sketches) and the twist is that I embossed my image with a clear embossing powder with glitter in it on top of a black pigment ink. I then colored in my image with Copic markers. I finished off the card by adding prisma glitter to different parts of the designer paper.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Up next is a card using the rooster which is a single stamp that will be available tomorrow :) Who doesn't love a rooster... ok... a rooster which is a rubber stamp in my case.

I colored my rooster with Copics and my layout was inspired by a card I received in the mail from a good friend. I just love the Cosmo Cricket paper and thought it would look great with the rooster.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My next 3 cards are all based around 3 individual sentiments that will be in the $ section of the store. Its the truth and I am not lying, but you CANNOT have too many sentiments in your stamping collection!

This one is You're the Best... I paired it with some cute paper from the Nikki Sivils line (6x6 pad) and this particular sentiment fit perfectly on that cute little owl's belly.

So happy for you - this is one that will fit numerous occasions and in this case I used it for a cute baby card.

And my last card for the day - Let's Party - again, a great sentiment for any fun occasion. I just love this duck image and thought it was a great combo.

Well, that is it folks... get those carts ready for tomorrow because there is a lot of great stuff to choose from. Thanks for hanging with me, but don't forget that there is a lot more eye candy out there waiting for you. Check out the ladies below.

MIL here.......You are so correct on the bird being a Cardinal. The male is just like you colored him. The female will be a grayish red, dull in color but just as fantastic. They are the first birds you hear in the mornings and love to eat stripped sunflower seeds. They are also the last to sleep at nigh.
All your card are beautiful, as always. Love, MIL
