Hey everyone! Let me amble here for a bit. I was so stoked yesterday because I have gotten the majority of my DT work done and I could do a little bit of playing, right? Well, I ambled around downstairs this morning rifling through my multitudes of stamps and images and couldn't pick one single one to work on. It was seriously sad and pathetic and I have to add that some images were even still brand new.
Then, I decided to use the image on my card below for nostalgic reasons. I've had this castle stamp since I was a teenager. The date on the stamp says 1987 and I've kept it this entire time. I just have a handful of stamps from back then and it is a bit outdated but it was fun to ink up.
Then after the "big" decision, this is what I ended up with. Holy cow... I couldn't get anything to work and I changed my papers and layout I don't know how many times. In the end, I ended up with this pretty simple card. I couldn't even get my bow tied right, plus I had to cover up my first sentiment with the tag sentiment (that I wrote again... its slightly crooked) because it didn't look right either.
So, here it is folks! Have a great day... seriously, mine is a good one :)

I like it - the colors, layout, and coloring are all great.
It is cute.
Haha, I love it! Great colors, Katie. . .did you have a walk down memory lane with this stamp?
I like it quite a lot, but I know exactly how you feel. I've been there so many times. Do you remember the first thing you made with that stamp? My first stamp was a carousel horse and I still have it.
I love how old stamps can look new again with a different way of coloring!! It's such a pretty card!!
This is beautiful Katie. Love the green and mauve colour combo and that castle looks fit for a Queen.

This is just beautiful Katie! Fabulous coloring.
This is beautifully colored. This is one of my fav color combos. I think it is so cool that you have had this for so long. I still have my first set ever too. Great job.
