A charming Stamp Something Challenge

Happy Friday! It feels like and it has been forever since I posted. This past week has been busy, but honestly, I have not had the energy or desire to really make much of anything. I've been quite tired and uninspired. I really hate that feeling, but it comes and luckily it passes so in reality all's well that ends well.

Sometimes, I feel like the kids just suck the mojo right on out of me!

So, back to the crafty business of things. Its time for another Stamp Something Challenge. This week's challenge is "charm something" and is being sponsored by Quixotic Paperie. I dug out a Close to my Heart set that I hadn't used yet. Unfortunately, the set and papers aren't available anymore since it was a special purchase with purchase, but I still wanted to share it. I paired it with a little key charm that I got from Clear Dollar Stamps. The sentiment from the stamp set was perfect for the charm.

One of my friends here at home
brought me bag after bag of DMC floss and I grabbed some matching floss to crochet this little flower. Thank you Lisa :) Again, I thought it paired up perfectly with the charm too!

I do have to admit that I took FOREVER getting this charm to lay just perfect. I was all enthused because the card itself came together really quickly, but that darn charm was the kicker. Go figure!

The paper is already patterned, but I stamped a beautiful swirl stamp on top of it with white pigment ink and really like how it turned out.

Here is a close up of the flower, ribbon, and charm. Thanks for coming by to visit me even though its taken me almost a week to post anything. I hope it was worth the wait! Enjoy your Friday!

Really nice. The key really sets the flower and the card off -- it was worth all the trouble/time.
