Another Layout with Sneak Peek Papers

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great Saturday. I did another layout... wowee (lol). I'm glad that I'm making a very, very tiny dent. I really want to do more and maybe someday way in the future I might get somewhat close to catching up.

Anyway, the layout I'm sharing with you today is just a one page, but I think I'll eventually make it into a 2 page spread. I just adore this picture of Nate. It was actually a relatively cold day during Spring and for some reason the boys got a hold of the hose and nozzle. Will did not want any parts of the water and acted like he was afraid. Nate on the other hand had a ball and was completely doused. Kevin took some incredible pictures of the event.

The base cardstock is from TaDa's Laser cut collections and provide a neat look to your layouts. This specific design is from the new collection that will be available at CHA. I put a coordinating piece of cardstock from my Close to my Heart Collection behind it and used it to accent other parts of my page.

The neat pattern paper is from the new Abode a la Mode Collection. I used both sides (LOVE double sided paper). I used the other side for the letters of my title.

Here are a couple of close-ups of the dew drops and the clear buttons. I used stickles (waterfall) to adhere both the dew drops and the buttons down. It gives it a neat little twinkle.

Just a couple of tidbits for you this weekend.
  • Don't forget about the Clear Dollar Stamps Color Challenge over at Papercraft Planet. You've got the rest of the weekend to work on that.
  • Limelight Papercrafts is also having their sketch and product challenge going on right now too. You've got all weekend to work on that one as well.
  • Craft Critique is gathering as many butterflies as possible for a great cause...
  • I've got another easy and fun tutorial over at Lori's blog - Clearly iStamp
And finally, I'd like to say thanks for stopping by and visiting and have a great weekend.

I am not a scrapbooker....but I must say I LOVE this page you created. Of course the subject matter steals the show...but your embellishments and layout are wonderful.

That is a great idea. It really looks wet.
Miss hanging with you. Summer is busier than I expected.
