I wasn't going to make a special Father's Day Card for hubby because he already knows he's a great Dad and because I know that his feelings wouldn't get hurt, BUT... I was down in my basement very, very late and I was working on some things and I just felt like I had to.
What jumped out and spoke to me was some product that I had gotten from Annette and Mary, the two lovely ladies from TaDa Creative Studios. The specific product being from their Daddy 'O Collection. Totally makes sense doesn't it since it is Father's Day and all. Well... as I was looking through stuff, a sheet of die cuts that go with the Daddy 'O Line called Pocket Notes practically screamed at me.
This is the result. I used one of the pocket die cuts and attached it to my card. Then, I used my word processor and found this cute font and printed out Daddy (for the boys) and then cut it down to size so it would fit in the pocket. I asked each of the boys what they wanted Daddy to know on Father's Day and I wrote it down on the little kerchief. I also embellished with a few pewter brads and the parenthesis die cuts that are also part of the die cuts.
So, to all the Dad's out there... Happy Day to you.
Thanks for visiting and have a great day.
