My first card I used my Copics to color him in, but I still wanted a patchwork look to him so I took my Colorless Blender pen and created my own patchwork. If you look closely you can see that I created polka dots on the left side of his face and stripes on the right.
Then I also added some Flower Soft to the small flowers he's sitting. Did you know I love that stuff?? Lots of colors and even great starter kits are available at the store.
The sentiment is from a CDstamps set called Formal Sentiments which is another great all around set to have.
My second card is a shaped card that I cut using my Cricut Expression using the Wild Card Cartridge. The one nice thing is that you can get a much larger shaped card using the cricut.
For this card, I took the little pig and stamped him on a variety of different patterned paper, in this case Bitty Basics from Papertrey ink. Then I cut up the sections I wanted and created a different type of patchwork look, but before I did that, I took some sewing thread and did some stitching on the top layers.
I also added just a bit of stickles to the ears and the little flower for that extra bit of pizzaz.
