Good morning friends, its the 2nd day of Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peeks. For the full reveal of today's reveals go to Clearly iStamp. The stamp that I'm sharing with you is a new line of designs from Shawne. She has created the Patchpal animals and same coordinating sentiments and the cutie I'm featuring today is the Pig. These little guys remind me of those super loved animals that we used to have as kids.

My first card I used my Copics to color him in, but I still wanted a patchwork look to him so I took my Colorless Blender pen and created my own patchwork. If you look closely you can see that I created polka dots on the left side of his face and stripes on the right.

Then I also added some Flower Soft to the small flowers he's sitting. Did you know I love that stuff?? Lots of colors and even great starter kits are available at the store.

The sentiment is from a CDstamps set called Formal Sentiments which is another great all around set to have.

My second card is a shaped card that I cut using my Cricut Expression using the Wild Card Cartridge. The one nice thing is that you can get a much larger shaped card using the cricut.

For this card, I took the little pig and stamped him on a variety of different patterned paper, in this case Bitty Basics from Papertrey ink. Then I cut up the sections I wanted and created a different type of patchwork look, but before I did that, I took some sewing thread and did some stitching on the top layers.

I also added just a bit of stickles to the ears and the little flower for that extra bit of pizzaz.

Hi Katie! What supercute "Patchpal" cards you have here! I love your patching that you did with the colorless Copic blender on the little pig. So clever you are! And the Flower Soft flowers are so sweet and a perfect touch to this cutie. Love your second card, too! The colors are so sweet and soft and all cutting you did on that paper tole! Wow! Super work!

Oh Katie, I love how different each of your samples are! I really thought your first one was paper pieced you did such a good job with the copics. I really love that you actually stitched that last sample together. How ingenious ;D
