Hi everyone! Amazingly enough there are throngs of crafty individuals that need to be brought over to the dark side *insert evil laugh*. Can you believe that not everybody knows what a nesty is? Actually, I was one of those individuals not that long ago, but I tell you, its like M&M's. Once you have one, you're hooked - which by the way, I'm not even sure if I've got the right candy analogy here. Oh well, if I don't somebody please correct me. Anyway, the point is that I love my Nestabilities. I did a basic tutorial over at Clearly iStamp about Spellbinders Nestabilities and wanted to share the two cards I created afterwards with my die cuts. These two cards actually combine several of my favorite things - Nesties, Basic grey, Flower Soft, Kaisercraft Rhinestones, and of course some stamping. Ok, you got me... more than several here.
That first card is just a little one. It measures 3 1/4" x 5 1/2". I actually like that size. I swear that the "thank you" sentiment doesn't look so crooked in real life. The majority of the images used are from this month's FREE set with a $50 purchase over at Clear Dollar Stamps called Silhouette Wishes.
The 2nd card used that incredibly cool stuff - Flower Soft. I love that stuff - its so light, airy, fluffy, and it goes forever. I did add some Martha Stewart glitter to it for a different look. Its not the normal glitter, but some stuff that came in a sample package around the holidays. Its bigger and flatter looking. I also used the new Blossom die cut that I love too. Did I already say I love Nesties (lol). Here is a close up of the Flower Soft. Its a bit blurry, but does allow you to see the glitter affect a bit more. Its like mood bling.

Oh, and I did want to share my story from our little get away. It was a good trip, but just a couple of little hiccups. We ended up with a speeding ticket and when we got back to the condo, my sister relayed to us that the U-haul that she and hubby were driving while moving her into her new place was video taped "passing" through a red light - oops. Lets just say that our pockets are literally a couple hundred dollars lighter --- Grrr... I guess we were due considering its been years and years since you know who (not me) has gotten a speeding ticket.
Thanks for hanging and have a great Friday... and a super Easter weekend. Not sure if I'll be blogging or not.

Have a wonderful Birthday today and
many, many more. Love you, MIL
Happy, happy birthday, Katie!! Hope you have a wonderful day :D
Gorgeously elegant cards Katie. Sorry to here about the fine, but hey they are for a good reason though ... keeping the roads safe for us all. Enjoy the rest of your Easter break. Hugs from Desire
I could not live without my nesties! Amazing how quickly they became an everyday part of my crafting. Sorry to hear of the "ticket"! We were coming back from our mini vacation this week and almost got one too...the police flashed his overhead lights at us but kept going...gave us a break! Whew!
Nesties are addictive!!! Your card is gorgeous.
Great cards! What a bummer about the speeding tickets. So many new toys that money could've bought! I haven't bought any nesties yet, but I'm sure once I get them I'll be addicted too. That's usually how it works.
Wow Katie ... these are beautiful. I really like the green and purple together. Fantastic ... I love them!
Happy Birthday Katie, hope it's good, tried calling u but no answer, so have a good one!
As usual, your cards are lovely. I love the flowersoft too. Haven't tried it, but think I will have to soon.
Question about your nesties... I have the small and large labels, but am using them in my cuttlebug. Do you have the actual Wizard machine?
